Sikaflex®-291 is a non-sag, 1-component polyurethane sealant developed for the marine market. It cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form elastic, vibration-resistant joint seals, and it bonds well to the materials commonly used in boat building: wood, metals, metal primers and 2-component paint coatings, ceramics and plastics such as GRP. Once cured it can be sanded and painted. Sikaflex®-291 meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
