Sikaflex®-291 LOT is a non-sag, 1-component polyurethane sealant developed for the marine market, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture. It is designed for applications that need additional working time, such as bedding teak plank decking laid on top of the sub-deck. It bonds well to wood, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-C systems) and fiberglass, and can be painted and sanded.

Recommended Uses

Must not be used to seal plastics prone to stress cracking (e.g. Plexiglas, polycarbonate). Suitable for experienced professional users. Test on the actual substrates and conditions to confirm adhesion and material compatibility.
