Circa 1850 Terra Nova NaturOil (250ml) is a blend of pure oils developed for butcher blocks, salad bowls, cutting boards, wood handles and toys. NaturOil prevents the cracking and drying out of your wood. The non-toxic formula does not contain any dyes, perfumes or other additives. Approved for direct food contact, NaturOil is Kosher and contains no nut oils.

A fuss-free base coat for painted woodcarved projects

My woodcarving teacher has been supplying Terra Nova NaturOil to her students, for use as an effective and easy-to-apply base coat for our painted projects.
I’m a fairly new user of this product, but appreciate that I’m able to brush it on straight from the bottle; & that it has a quick drying time, allowing me to get on with the actual painting- I’m not a great painter but feel that the oil helps me achieve a good, consistent result with my diluted acrylics.
It’s become my go-to base coat, & now I have a couple of my own bottles in the cabinet.
I’m a very happy customer.
