This design offers a paddler a shorter boat that can handle a good size payload for its size, avoiding the hassle of moving and storing a larger boat. The boat is a hybrid with a plywood hull, the deck is made of cedar strips allowing more camber in the forward deck giving leg room for paddlers with longer limbs, the hull is single chine.
