Bristol Finish UV Clear is a clear two-part urethane wood finish for exterior and interior use: a long-lasting, low-maintenance replacement for conventional varnish when you want the natural colour of the wood rather than an amber tone. It can be recoated in about an hour with no sanding between coats, so the recommended six coats go on in a day. Brush, roll or spray it over bare wood, epoxy-coated wood or sound existing finishes. The quart kit includes UV Clear Resin (Part A) and Catalyst (Part B) for the 8:1 mix.

Features

  • Clear high-gloss finish that shows the natural colour of the wood
  • Enhanced UV protection and improved abrasion resistance
  • Recoat in about 1 hour at 70 °F; wet-on-wet coats need no sanding for up to 24 hours
  • May be applied to bare wood, epoxy-saturated wood, wood stains, sealers and existing varnish or Cetol in good condition (teak oil must be removed first)
  • Brush, roller or spray application

Recommended Uses

  • Exterior doors, trim and garden woodwork
  • Boat interiors, brightwork and wooden boats
  • Furniture, stairs, floors and other interior woodwork

Kit Contents

  • 1 quart UV Clear Resin (Part A)
