The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Heavy Cutting Compound restores the lustrous beauty of boats by eliminating oxidation, scratches, scuff marks and other surface blemishes from gelcoat. One of 3M's fastest-cutting products for gelcoats, this cutting compound removes P800 and finer scratches, and leaves a high gloss finish ideal for cutting polish and wax.
The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Gelcoat Heavy Cutting Compound is one of 3M's fastest cutting compounds for heavily oxidized gelcoat surfaces. Its premium chemical and mineral formula quickly removes heavy oxidation, weathering, dulling, chalking, and scratches P800 or finer. This formula leaves a high gloss finish – on many surfaces, a polishing step is not necessary before waxing. The cutting compound also has a long wet time, allowing you to compound longer before you need new material.
