Bertram Sea Foam, Ultra HD Gelcoat Paste Repair Kit (2021-2022)

Bertram owners: this is the Sea Foam, Ultra HD touch-up you've been looking for. Spectrum colour-matches each Patch Paste kit to the factory gelcoat, and this one is mixed to code 8944, listed for 2021-2022.

In the box

  • 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste: Bertram Sea Foam, Ultra HD, Spectrum colour code 8944
  • Catalyst (hardener)
  • Easy-to-follow instructions

Best for

Chips, nicks, light scratches and drill holes. One kit covers roughly 10 loonies' worth of small repairs.

Repair steps

  1. Prep: sand the damage with 220 grit and keep the repair as small as possible.
  2. Clean: wipe the area down with acetone.
  3. Fill: catalyze half the jar (1 oz) with 10–12 drops and apply.
  4. Finish: let it cure 1–2 hours, then wet-sand 220 → 400 → 600 and polish.

Heads up: Patch Paste kits can't be tinted. Check your colour with your boat's builder using your hull ID.

Important Note: These kits are custom made and require a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Returns are not possible once ordered.

DISCLAIMER

Noah's is not responsible for verifying the color needed. Although Noah's can guarantee the color to match the factory original standard, it is possible the color will not match your specific boat due to environmental elements and mixing variables. Each kit is custom-matched to the factory color, but sun fade and weathering can make a repair look slightly different from older gelcoat, and Patch Paste can't be tinted to adjust it.

There are many methods to apply gelcoat. Noah's is not responsible for the resulting cure, or the change of color or appearance of the gelcoat due to the addition of curing agents, solvents, or thinners such as styrene.
