Hewes Bonefisher Pure White Gelcoat Paste Repair Kit (2011-2015)

Hewes Bonefisher owners: this is the Pure White touch-up you've been looking for. Spectrum colour-matches each Patch Paste kit to the factory gelcoat, and this one is mixed to code 10957, listed for 2011-2015.

In the box

  • 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste: Hewes Bonefisher Pure White, Spectrum colour code 10957
  • Catalyst (hardener)
  • Easy-to-follow instructions

Best for

Small cosmetic damage: chips, dings, scratches and old hardware holes. Expect about 10 loonie-sized repairs per kit.

Repair steps

  1. Sand out the damaged area with 220 grit; cracks must be ground out before filling.
  2. Clean with acetone.
  3. Stir 10–12 drops of catalyst into 1 oz of paste and press it into the repair.
  4. Once cured (about 1–2 hours), block-sand flat with 220, 400 and 600 grit, then buff.

Patch Paste cannot be tinted. Spectrum recommends confirming the colour with your boat manufacturer before you order.

Important Note: These kits are custom made and require a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Returns are not possible once ordered.

DISCLAIMER

Noah's is not responsible for verifying the color needed. Although Noah's can guarantee the color to match the factory original standard, it is possible the color will not match your specific boat due to environmental elements and mixing variables. Each kit is custom-matched to the factory color, but sun fade and weathering can make a repair look slightly different from older gelcoat, and Patch Paste can't be tinted to adjust it.

There are many methods to apply gelcoat. Noah's is not responsible for the resulting cure, or the change of color or appearance of the gelcoat due to the addition of curing agents, solvents, or thinners such as styrene.
