Small dings deserve a proper colour match. Spectrum blends this 2 oz paste to Pursuit Fresh White (Spectrum code 50017, 2015), so you can fix nicks and old screw holes on your offshore boat without repainting a whole panel.

Ideal 2 oz Paste Kit repairs
Small cosmetic damage: chips, dings, scratches and old hardware holes. Expect about 10 loonie-sized repairs per kit.
2 oz Paste Kit step by step
- Remove all damaged gelcoat and sand the area with 220 grit. Grind out any cracks first.
- Wipe clean with acetone.
- Mix 10–12 drops of catalyst into 1 oz of paste (half the jar) and fill the repair with a smooth drag. A second coat may be needed.
- After 1–2 hours of cure time, sand with 220, 400 and 600 grit and buff to a shine.
Quart and Gallon
- Colour-matched Spectrum gelcoat only: Pursuit Fresh White, Spectrum colour code 50017. Quarts and gallons are gel coat, not Patch Paste.
- Hardener (MEKP) is not included with quarts or gallons; purchase separately.
- Spectrum notes that gel coat needs catalyst (MEKP) at 2% by volume (77°F) and will not fully cure without a surfacing agent such as patch aid, PVA or surface seal.
Patch Paste cannot be tinted. Spectrum recommends confirming the colour with your boat manufacturer before you order.
Important Note: These kits are custom made and require a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Returns are not possible once ordered.
DISCLAIMER
Noah's is not responsible for verifying the color needed. Although Noah's can guarantee the color to match the factory original standard, it is possible the color will not match your specific boat due to environmental elements and mixing variables. Each kit is custom-matched to the factory color, but sun fade and weathering can make a repair look slightly different from older gelcoat, and Patch Paste can't be tinted to adjust it.
There are many methods to apply gelcoat. Noah's is not responsible for the resulting cure, or the change of color or appearance of the gelcoat due to the addition of curing agents, solvents, or thinners such as styrene.
