Sundance Graphite Gelcoat Paste Repair Kit (2018-2024)

Small dings deserve a proper colour match. Spectrum blends this 2 oz paste to Sundance Graphite (Spectrum code 40302, 2018-2024), so you can fix nicks and old screw holes on your boat without repainting a whole panel.

Included

  • 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste: Sundance Graphite, Spectrum colour code 40302
  • Catalyst (hardener)
  • Easy-to-follow instructions

Ideal repairs

Chips, nicks, light scratches and drill holes. One kit covers roughly 10 loonies' worth of small repairs.

Step by step

  1. Remove all damaged gelcoat and sand the area with 220 grit. Grind out any cracks first.
  2. Wipe clean with acetone.
  3. Mix 10–12 drops of catalyst into 1 oz of paste (half the jar) and fill the repair with a smooth drag. A second coat may be needed.
  4. After 1–2 hours of cure time, sand with 220, 400 and 600 grit and buff to a shine.

Heads up: Patch Paste kits can't be tinted. Check your colour with your boat's builder using your hull ID.

Important Note: These kits are custom made and require a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Returns are not possible once ordered.

DISCLAIMER

Noah's is not responsible for verifying the color needed. Although Noah's can guarantee the color to match the factory original standard, it is possible the color will not match your specific boat due to environmental elements and mixing variables. Each kit is custom-matched to the factory color, but sun fade and weathering can make a repair look slightly different from older gelcoat, and Patch Paste can't be tinted to adjust it.

There are many methods to apply gelcoat. Noah's is not responsible for the resulting cure, or the change of color or appearance of the gelcoat due to the addition of curing agents, solvents, or thinners such as styrene.
