Sundance White Ext Gelcoat Paste Repair Kit (2018-2024)
Keep your boat looking sharp. Spectrum matches this gelcoat to Sundance White Ext for the 2018-2024 model years. Pick the 2 oz Patch Paste Kit for the small cosmetic repairs that come with every season, or a quart or gallon for bigger jobs.
Choose your size
- 2 oz Paste Kit: 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste with catalyst (hardener) and instructions, for small cosmetic repairs.
- Quart or Gallon: colour-matched gelcoat only, for larger repairs. Hardener (MEKP) is not included with quarts or gallons; purchase separately.
What you get with the 2 oz Paste Kit
- 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste: Sundance White Ext, Spectrum colour code 40307
- Catalyst (hardener)
- Easy-to-follow instructions
2 oz Paste Kit is good for
Nicks, scuffs, scratches and screw holes, roughly 10 loonies of coverage per kit.
How to use the 2 oz Paste Kit
- Prep: sand the damage with 220 grit and keep the repair as small as possible.
- Clean: wipe the area down with acetone.
- Fill: catalyze half the jar (1 oz) with 10–12 drops and apply.
- Finish: let it cure 1–2 hours, then wet-sand 220 → 400 → 600 and polish.
Quart and Gallon
- Colour-matched Spectrum gelcoat only: Sundance White Ext, Spectrum colour code 40307. Quarts and gallons are gel coat, not Patch Paste.
- Hardener (MEKP) is not included with quarts or gallons; purchase separately.
- Spectrum notes that gel coat needs catalyst (MEKP) at 2% by volume (77°F) and will not fully cure without a surfacing agent such as patch aid, PVA or surface seal.
Note: Patch Paste can't be tinted, so please confirm your colour code before ordering.
Important Note: These kits are custom made and require a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Returns are not possible once ordered.
DISCLAIMER
Noah's is not responsible for verifying the color needed. Although Noah's can guarantee the color to match the factory original standard, it is possible the color will not match your specific boat due to environmental elements and mixing variables. Each kit is custom-matched to the factory color, but sun fade and weathering can make a repair look slightly different from older gelcoat, and Patch Paste can't be tinted to adjust it.
There are many methods to apply gelcoat. Noah's is not responsible for the resulting cure, or the change of color or appearance of the gelcoat due to the addition of curing agents, solvents, or thinners such as styrene.
