Thank you for considering our Coosa Bluewater foam board for your project! Please note that Coosa Bluewater 20# measuring 48" x 96" is sold as whole sheets. Shipping for this size of panel is typically done via freight shipping, which will incur additional fees. To ensure that you get the best possible rate for shipping, we will contact you prior to shipment with the final shipping cost.

Please be aware that when we package your Coosa Bluewater, there will be a $60.00 packaging fee. However, we take great care to ensure that your panel arrives at your doorstep in excellent condition. When we package your panel, we cover it with heavy cardboard to protect it from any damage during transit. Additionally, we double the edges to further reinforce the package and add corner protectors to ensure that the corners of the panel remain intact.

If you have any questions about shipping or packaging, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're here to help!

Coosa Bluewater 20 is a closed-cell polyurethane foam panel reinforced with continuous-strand fiberglass and woven roving. At 20 lb/ft³ (≈320 kg/m³ on Coosa’s metric TDS), it is the lightest Bluewater density Noah’s Marine stocks—often chosen when you want a no-rot alternative to wood core panels that stays useful for many semi-structural marine jobs without the weight of denser Bluewater grades.

Per Coosa, Bluewater panels are dimensionally stable, do not lose strength when wet the way wood can, and bond with a wide range of resins and adhesives. Common marine uses for Bluewater 20 include stringers, decking, hatch lids, and cabinetry where spans and loads do not require Bluewater 26 or 32. Coosa does not engineer your repair or structure—qualify the panel for your spans, loads, and fasteners.

  • Density: 20 lb/ft³ (Bluewater 20)
  • Construction: closed-cell PU foam + continuous strand + woven roving
  • Low water absorption; resists rot, mold, and mildew
  • Cuts and drills with standard carbide woodworking tools
  • Accepts screws, staples, and adhesives; surface suited to laminating or painting
  • Sheet size on this listing: 4′ × 8′; choose thickness above

Bluewater 20 vs denser Bluewater panels

Need more stiffness or screw retention? See Bluewater 26 and Bluewater 32. Coosa’s Bluewater line uses continuous strand plus woven roving. Coosa also makes a Nautical series (continuous strand only); at equal density Bluewater is generally stiffer. Noah’s Marine does not currently stock Nautical panels.
