System Three S-1 Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer

System Three S-1 Sealer is a two-part clear penetrating epoxy sealer for marine and shop use. Its very low viscosity soaks deep into wood to seal out moisture and oxygen and help prevent rot, and it acts as a waterproof, chemical-resistant primer on wood, metal, concrete, ferro-cement and fibreglass (FRP). Apply by brush, roller or spray with no thinning required.

• Simple 1:1 mix ratio and a 24-hour pot life
• Ready-to-use viscosity with excellent wetting on most surfaces
• Waterproof above and below the waterline
• Recoat without sanding within 12 to 24 hours
• Non-brittle, even at very low temperatures
• Resists salt air and water, mild acids, alkalis, chemicals and solvents (not unleaded-gasoline proof)

Recommended Uses

• Wood: seals against moisture and oxygen to help protect against rot. Ideal for yacht interiors, shelving, cabinets and furniture.
• Ferro-cement boats: moisture barrier for bulkheads and decks.
• Metals: helps prevent oxidation, staining and tarnish.
• Fibreglass (FRP): adds moisture resistance to polyester laminates. Use as the first sealer step in gelcoat blister repair after the blisters are ground out.
