System Three SB-112 is a clear, blush-free, two-part epoxy for surfboards, sailboards, coating and composite laminating. It excels as a primer and tie coat for polyester: its surface does not inhibit polyester cure, so polyester resin and gelcoat bond to it without a separate tie coat.
Features
- Blush-free cure
- Bonds polyester resin and gelcoat without a separate tie coat
- Ideal for polyester gelcoat repair
- Solvent-free
- Convenient 2:1 mix ratio
- Grain sealer for wooden musical instruments
Recommended Uses
- Building and repairing surfboards and sailboards over polystyrene cores
- Tie coat between epoxy and polyester; bond polyester to freshly sanded SB-112 within 48 hours of cure
- Coating, sealing and composite laminating
