Thin glass fibers chopped to 1/4” lengths. Chopped Strand adds strength and gap filling to any mixture of fillers and resin.
This can be added to putty mixtures for high-strength reinforcement. Putties that contain chopped strand are more fracture resistant and less brittle. The bigger strand will make a stronger, but coarser mixture.
