Sikaflex®-291i is a multi purpose one-component sealant and is used in the boat and ship building industry. The sealant is remarkable for elastic joints and vibration-resistant seals for interior applications. Its medium modulus allows bonding applications with limited stress and thanks to the wide adhesion range Sikafl ex®-291i adheres to most common used substrates in the marine industry. This multi-purpose brushable sealant used for applications such as sealing and bedding thru hull fitting, hull seams and deck hardware. It can be used above or below water line. It provides an excellent adhesion to gelcoat, fibreglass, metal and wood. It may be squeezed or brushed into place. It is paintable and resists salt water.
