MAS FLAG Epoxy Resin – 2:1 Non-Blushing Medium Viscosity
MAS FLAG Resin (Filleting, Laminating And Gluing) is a non-blushing, low-odour, medium-viscosity 2:1 marine epoxy. Its thicker 2,300 cP body resists sagging on vertical surfaces and holds fillers well, which makes it the MAS resin of choice for bonding, fillets and fairing compounds. Mix it 2:1 by volume with MAS Fast, Medium or Slow Hardener (sold separately); MAS recommends Medium Hardener for filled work.
Features
- Simple 2:1 mix ratio by volume with all three MAS hardeners
- Non-blushing: no wash-downs between coats or laminations
- Medium viscosity with better sag resistance for laminating non-horizontal surfaces
- Designed for use as an adhesive and with MAS fillers for gluing, bonding and filleting
- Cures clear
- Blend with MAS LV Resin for a custom viscosity, or mix hardeners for custom gel times
Recommended Uses
- Structural fillets and glue joints in stitch-and-glue and wooden boat building
- Fairing and filling compounds with MAS Phenolic Microballoons, Colloidal Silica or Wood Flour
- Laminating fibreglass on vertical and overhead surfaces
- Bonding hardware and general repairs

Safety and storage: MAS FLAG Resin (Part A) is labelled WARNING: causes skin irritation; may cause an allergic skin reaction; causes serious eye irritation; toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Wear nitrile gloves, safety glasses and long sleeves, and work in a well-ventilated area. Clean uncured epoxy off skin with soap and water, never solvents. Store between 60 and 90 °F (16–32 °C) in a dry place, off cold floors and away from outside walls, and do not freeze. If the resin crystallizes, warm it to 125–140 °F (52–60 °C) and stir until clear.
