MAS Phenolic Microballoons – Low-Density Fairing Filler
MAS Phenolic Microballoons are ultra-light, hollow phenolic spheres that turn epoxy into a low-density fairing and filling compound. Once cured, the mix sands easily without clogging paper, which makes it ideal for fairing hulls and decks and for cosmetic filling. To make a fairing compound, mix the resin and hardener first, then slowly stir in microballoons until you reach a peanut-butter consistency.
