MAS Slow Hardener – 2:1 Non-Blushing Epoxy Hardener
MAS Slow Hardener gives the longest working time in the MAS 2:1 non-blushing system. Mixed 2:1 by volume with MAS LV or FLAG Resin, it gels in about 40 minutes (150 g at 25 °C), is tack-free in about 5 hours and is fully cured in about 5 days. That extra open time makes it the choice for laminating large areas of fibreglass or carbon cloth, saturation coating, and working in warm weather, with no blush to wash off between coats.

Safety and storage: MAS Slow Hardener (Part B) is labelled DANGER: harmful if swallowed; harmful in contact with skin; causes severe skin burns and eye damage; may cause an allergic skin reaction; suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child; harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Wear nitrile gloves, safety glasses and long sleeves, and work in a well-ventilated area. Clean uncured epoxy off skin with soap and water, never solvents. Store between 60 and 90 °F (16–32 °C) in a dry place, off cold floors and away from outside walls, and do not freeze. If the resin crystallizes, warm it to 125–140 °F (52–60 °C) and stir until clear.
