BS 1088 Meranti Plywood

48" x 96" 1mm face veneers before sanding with equal or nearly equal laminations with water and boil proof (WBP) glue.

Core laminations are equal thickness and are void free with some some splinter voids in the ends. Water and boil proof (WBP) glue. Color range is dark to light reddish brown, face veneers are one piece, grain tends to be fairly even and straight . The wood is harder, more rot resistant than Okoume, and makes a stiffer and slightly heavier panel. Good structural plywood particularly for bottoms and larger boats. Our customers also use this for decks, freezers, signs, exterior structures, cabinets and about anything else you can think of requiring a tough, stable, water proof, durable panel.

We offer two primary shipping methods for plywood:

Freight Shipping (For Large Sheets)
  • Plywood sheets larger than 48" x 36" x 4" require freight shipping.
  • This may incur additional shipping fees.
  • We will calculate the final shipping price and confirm it with you prior to shipment.
  • Packing Charge: A $60.00 packing charge applies.
Courier Ground Shipping (For Smaller Packages)
  • Plywood packages 48" x 36" x 4" or less ship via standard courier ground rates.
  • No additional shipping costs (beyond the packing charge).
  • Packing Charge: A $30.00 packing charge applies.
Optional Cutting Service
  • We can cut full-sized sheets down to courier dimensions (48" x 36" x 4" or less) for shipping.
  • Cost: $10.00 for up to 3 cuts on full sheets.

Packaging Quality

We take great care in packaging: plywood is covered with heavy cardboard, edges are doubled up, and corner protectors are added to ensure your order arrives in excellent condition.
