Hewes Bonefisher Interior White Enamel Gelcoat Paste Repair Kit (2011-2012)

Dock rash, trailer scuffs and mis-drilled holes are part of boating. This Spectrum Patch Paste kit, in Hewes Bonefisher Interior White Enamel (2011-2012), lets you repair them yourself with a colour that's made to match.

What's in the kit

  • 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste: Hewes Bonefisher Interior White Enamel, Spectrum colour code 10955
  • Catalyst (hardener)
  • Easy-to-follow instructions

Use it on

Nicks, scuffs, scratches and screw holes, roughly 10 loonies of coverage per kit.

Quick how-to

  1. Sand out the damaged area with 220 grit; cracks must be ground out before filling.
  2. Clean with acetone.
  3. Stir 10–12 drops of catalyst into 1 oz of paste and press it into the repair.
  4. Once cured (about 1–2 hours), block-sand flat with 220, 400 and 600 grit, then buff.

Note: Patch Paste can't be tinted, so please confirm your colour code before ordering.

Important Note: These kits are custom made and require a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Returns are not possible once ordered.

DISCLAIMER

Noah's is not responsible for verifying the color needed. Although Noah's can guarantee the color to match the factory original standard, it is possible the color will not match your specific boat due to environmental elements and mixing variables. Each kit is custom-matched to the factory color, but sun fade and weathering can make a repair look slightly different from older gelcoat, and Patch Paste can't be tinted to adjust it.

There are many methods to apply gelcoat. Noah's is not responsible for the resulting cure, or the change of color or appearance of the gelcoat due to the addition of curing agents, solvents, or thinners such as styrene.
