Pursuit Gulf Stream Blue HK Gelcoat Paste Repair Kit (2019-2023)
Dock rash, trailer scuffs and mis-drilled holes are part of boating. This Spectrum Patch Paste kit, in Pursuit Gulf Stream Blue HK (2019-2023), lets you repair them yourself with a colour that's made to match.
Choose your size
- 2 oz Paste Kit: 2 oz jar of Spectrum Patch Paste with catalyst (hardener) and instructions, for small cosmetic repairs.
- Quart or Gallon: colour-matched gelcoat only, for larger repairs. Hardener (MEKP) is not included with quarts or gallons; purchase separately.

Use it on
Chips, nicks, light scratches and drill holes. One kit covers roughly 10 loonies' worth of small repairs.
Quick how-to
- Remove all damaged gelcoat and sand the area with 220 grit. Grind out any cracks first.
- Wipe clean with acetone.
- Mix 10–12 drops of catalyst into 1 oz of paste (half the jar) and fill the repair with a smooth drag. A second coat may be needed.
- After 1–2 hours of cure time, sand with 220, 400 and 600 grit and buff to a shine.
Quart and Gallon
- Colour-matched Spectrum gelcoat only: Pursuit Gulf Stream Blue HK, Spectrum colour code 50025. Quarts and gallons are gel coat, not Patch Paste.
- Hardener (MEKP) is not included with quarts or gallons; purchase separately.
- Spectrum notes that gel coat needs catalyst (MEKP) at 2% by volume (77°F) and will not fully cure without a surfacing agent such as patch aid, PVA or surface seal.
Heads up: Patch Paste kits can't be tinted. Check your colour with your boat's builder using your hull ID.
